You're either using FM 5.5, and the document is in FM 5.0 or 5.1 format,
or you're using FM 6.0, and the document is in 5.x format.
The format of FM files changed in both the 5.5 and 6.0 releases.

Yes, you need to change the file permissions for these files.
Check the Properties for the file, or ask your system administrator
if the files happen to be placed in another file system on the network.
The files are read-only or don't have write permission for you.
