What quality assurance? The more we hear, the more heartsick we
become. It is no surprise that Adobe has never understood the underlying design
concepts of FrameMaker. But it is somewhat surprising that it does not
understand even the basics of PDF, the technology that it invented!
More relevantly, what upper-level idiot instructed the lower-level idiot to 
convert
the Character Sets and MIF Reference manuals from FM to PDF, rendering
them far less usefull, even if the fonts weren't screwed up?

Stupidity of this magnitude is almost beyond belief!

I've been saying it for almost a year now: Adobe's wheels are coming off.
