FM+SGML EDD Updates



Once you have an SGML document, along with an EDD, template, and DTD, what is
the best method to modify the structure?
Structure wise, it would be best to edit the DTD and then import it into the EDD
and then import the EDD into the template. Yet, the problem is that when a DTD
is modified, importing it into the EDD seems to have the same behaviour as when
you import catalogs into ordinary FM files. Changes are only additive.
Are my conclusions correct? I only did some limited testing and couldn't
determine the true behaviour.
How do you maintain FM+SGML documentation to ensure the DTD, EDD, Templates, and
documents are all current?
