Does FM6 support SVG graphics?

Hi,

would anyone be able to confirm whether FM6 supports 
SVG graphic format? (Scalable Vector Graphics is a new
XML-based standard under development from the W3C, see
http://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/ for more info). 

There are betas for an SVG viewer for Windows and Mac,
as well as for a plug-in for Illustrator 8.01, Win & Mac.

Or, anyone would have any ideas when support in FM for 
SVG would be available?
