The intended purpose of the SGMLFragment element type, like that of any other element type in my EDD/DTD, is to be used as I intend. If I plan on using SGMLFragments that conform to a particular structure, I can certainly define the SGMLFragment element in a way that suggests the intended structure to my users. --Lynne Lynne A.
