The name of the DTD as supplied by the vendor is "leg38784com.dtd" ======================================================================== You need to declare the PUBLIC entity in the DOC Type line of the DTD, and indicate that its SOI is leg38784com.dtd ====================================================================== > >I could not find anything in the trouble shooting section with regard to >FM not being able to find the external document type DOC. Obiously, these two files cannot have the same filename (i.e., Program). Presumably, D:\Program is a directory. You must specify the filename of the read/write rules file and the SGML declaration, both of which should be contained in directory d:\program. That's the reason why the read/write rules file can't be parsed. ======================================================================= > >Another issue to: >I am also unable to validate my read-write rules using the Developer >Tools "Check SGML Read Write rules" .
