fmbatch (was: features abandoned on UNIX)

Another feature that I used on UNIX & which I miss in v 5.5.6 on NT:
fmbatch. That batch command allowed me to do some powerful tricks with a
single command line--real useful when you're maintaining 130+ files.
...
I want fmbatch on windows NT! Better yet, add more book-management features
	to Frame!
...
Plus, I would like to be able to designate a single master file for any &
all books. The master file, without requiring me to "import formats" all
the time, would control not only paragraph & character formats but also
	HTML/BookHTML reference pages.

Here at Medtronic, we would like more to see more features available in fmbatch, including SaveAs HTML. One of the problems with FrameScript for Win9x/NT seems to be the inability to start a job via a script. We use fmbatch in Unix scripts as cron jobs all the time to check files out of repositories and update books in the middle of the night so that the people working on a document can see its "current" state refreshed daily.

Can any of you FrameScript and AppleScript users comment on the robustness of these scripting methods as compared to fmbatch? You can reply directly to me or the list if you think it is of general interest.

Thanks.
