Agreed. I was just offering an alternative to the original poster, who seemed to be in dire need. However, when generating an APL from a template, the fiddling with the APL list flow specification would only have to be done once. Then, the doctored paragraphs in the APL specification flow could be pasted into the specification flow of any other generated APL list,replacing all of the paragraphs in the list specification flow. Next, by regenerating the list, any paragraph tags not included in the template would be added to the specification flow in their normal format.
