Ingrid, Others have correctly answered that there is no GOOD way to get from here to there. But, there IS a way to do this...(my experience is on Win95, FM556, PM6.5) IF it is okay that your table content is UNchangable (i.e. a graphic). IF you will only be printing this document on a PS-compatible printer. >From FM, print to a PS file, distill the PS file to PDF, make sure that you have the Settings set to embed fonts. Then in Acrobat Exchange (came on your FM cd), open the PDF and go to where each table is. Use the Crop tool to crop the area so you just have the table by itself on a page. THEN.... FIRST you have to download and install the PDF --> PS/EPS free plugin from the Adobe site. Then, (File,) Export your PDF page to EPS. You may have to experiment with the four possible combinations of EPS settings, but you DO want to embed fonts and you do want a preview! I do not yet fully understand the four possible setting combinations; it seems to depend upon what type of machine (PC, Mac) and printer the eventual recipient is using. TEST placement in PM and test printing after your have done one; If it does not preview on-screen and/or it does not print, then try another of the four settings. (The PS level 1 and Ascii encoding combination seems to be most versatile.) Once you have the EPS file(s) created, (it really does not take long once you get the hang of it), you can place them in PM or any other program, just like a graphic. However, you cannot edit them. Using Acrobat Exchange, Text Touch Up tool, you may be able to make some minor modifications to table content (and then reexport as EPS), but you won't be able to do stuff like adding table rows or columns The described method is what we regularly use for creating ad copy for print publications when we don't want them to be able to "mess with it." Lastly, why would you want to go from FM to PM? We are usually trying to do the opposite. Jay Ingrid Breuer wrote: > > Please Help, > > I have to create a document in PM5 from one created in FM5.
