If you're just talking about authoring documents with FM+SGML and you're
already familiar with FrameMaker, a 1- or 2-day training session, combined
with a little practice using a typical EDD should be sufficient. However, if
you're talking about developing EDD's and SGML import/export applications,
you'll need not only a lengthier formal training period, but also a whole
lot of hands-on experience before you can become proficient.
