Are you sure it is one big table, not split up (in word?) Depending on the Frame and Word version you use, (frame 5.5.6. imports Word97, Frame 5.5.3 does not), it can be a try to save as RTF and open the RTF in Frame. (not import, just file--open. should work with Word files as well) May be the table is formatted in a way Frame does not understand. You can convert the table to text, in Word, may be separate cells end/or rows by special characters in stead of tabs/returns. Then import this text into Framemaker and convert to table again, using the same separators as in Word. You might have to do some cleaning. Specially if you merged cells. Are you using FrameMaker 5.5.1, update very quick. Framemaker 5.5.1 has serious problems with tables especially when they flow to more pages.
