= I used to have an email address at Adobe to which I could sent idea = for enhancements. Of course, this could be applied to a = myriad of formats. = = Does anyone know a way to do this, or would anyone else like to see = this. = = Thank you! = = David <snip> = david.wollenberger@sterling.com The "comments@adobe.com" (which replaced "comments@frame.com") was discontinued some time ago. There currently is no simple answer for submitting suggestions, enhancements, etc. about FrameMaker products via email _except_ that recently, B. Mark Hilton of Adobe Systems introduced himself to the list(s) as the new Marketing Manager for FrameMaker. His address is "mhilton@adobe.com" There is another address, "fmerror@adobe.com" for submitting problem reports and bug info, although you may need to have a service/support contract number to use this address. Now about the tables: What is it that Frame's current table mechanism is not working for you? Table formats (as saved in the table catalog) CAN be applied to other tables, and then the BASIC, RULING and SHADING properties of the recipient table will be updated as appropriate. This will NOT affect the format of cell contents*, alter any custom ruling or shading, alter straddled cells, change the number of rows (of any type) or columns, or change the widths of columns. * the one area that formats _may_ change in the cells are if you are using paragraphs that have autonumbering, and the change in table design also alters the ROW FIRST vs TABLE FIRST numbering evaluation. - Lester ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Lester C.
