FM 5.x on Solaris comes with ATM (Adobe Type Manager). To install new PostScript Type 1 fonts to be used in FM, you should run ATI (Adobe Type Installer), which is included on the Type On Call CD-ROM delivered with FM for UNIX. See: http://www.adobe.com/supportservice/custsupport/SOLUTIONS/931a.htm If this doesn't work for some reason, you can still convert Mac or PC Type 1 fonts and add them to FM the way you did for version 4 and earlier. If this is how you must do it, there is software to help you out, instead of using the instructions in the old Frame manuals. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Thomas Michanek, Documentation Manager, Telelogic Tau Telelogic AB, Teknikringen 9, SE-58330 Linkoping, SWEDEN PHONE/FAX: +46 (0)13 211450/212166 <-- NEW FROM APRIL 1 EMAIL: mailto:Thomas.Michanek@telelogic.com WWW 1: http://www.telelogic.com WWW 2: http://hem1.passagen.se/framers - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - See you at the Telelogic User Conference '99, May 19-21, in Barcelona, Spain: http://www.telelogic.com/news/userconf.asp ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
