Allyson, YES! It is a bit of a kludge, but... (Win95, FM556) Go to View, Color, Definitions.... Define a New Color (change NewColor1 to something like 20%BlackTableFill). Define the color as being black (or whatever) and 20% (or whatever). Then to fill a table cell with your special color, you fill the cell with **100%** of "20%BlackTableFill" (or whatever). You use 100% of your color because your color is already only 20% black. This works. If you need to get this color definition into other documents, you can use the File, Import, Formats, COLOR DEFINITIONS (careful as always) to do so.
