If the documents you want to change are all in a FrameMaker Book, yes. Select the book file, pick File | Import | Formats, and check the boxes for the properties you want to import (the first two, in your case). Select the file you are importing from in the top right (which must be open in FM to appear in the list). You will probably also want to check the "remove overrides" box. Click Import and you are done. It's one of FM's best features. If the documents to change are not all part of the same book, or if the book contains documents you do *not* want to change, you can do exactly the same thing with one document at a time. If you'll ever want to do anything with that group again, though, go ahead and make up a new book from them; it only takes a few minutes, and then you can process them as a group in several ways (including, e.g., native export to PDF and HTML, or to Word or WinHelp with our mif2rtf filter). A document can be a member of as many different books as you please, so you have nothing to lose; book files are small. -- Jeremy H. Griffith, at Omni Systems Inc.
