Fellow Framers, I'm working on a template designed by someone else. The paper size is 7x8.5" and it has a sidehead -- the point being that the text column is relatively narrow. Each chapter has an embedded ToC, which I chose to set up with cross-references (rather than embedding an external file as an inset). Not only is the text column narrow, but the headings are very verbose (and I can't change these facts, unfortunately). Therefore, sometimes the ToC entries wrap to a second line. The entries are formatted with a dot leader and a right- justified page number. I also have no choice but to use this format (i.e., I can't use the traditional form of following the entry with an em-space and the page number). This works fine if the heading is VERY long: This is a heading in the Toc and it is long enough to wrap to the next line.......................2-25 or of course, if it is short: This is a normal heading.......................3-12 But if it is a certain length, the page number will wrap as follows: This is one of those troublesome headings.... 11-23 And it looks terrible! Does this make sense? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
