Sorry for any inconvenience caused. I refered to some Acrobat documents at Adobe's developer web site in a way that might have given you the impression that this site is sort of closed 'for developers only'. It is not a (completely) closed site, you may try starting at http://partners.adobe.com. It turns out the links to Acrobat specs are not http://partners.adobe.com/supportservice/devrelations/nonmember/acrosdk/DOCS /PDFSPEC.pdf http://partners.adobe.com/supportservice/devrelations/nonmember/acrosdk/DOCS /PDFMARK.pdf but http://partners.adobe.com/supportservice/devrelations/nonmember/acrosdk/DOCS /PDFSPEC.PDF http://partners.adobe.com/supportservice/devrelations/nonmember/acrosdk/DOCS /PDFMARK.PDF BTW, you may have these docs already, I think they are on the retail Acrobat 3.0 cd-rom.
