Subject: Frame to PDF oddity

Framers, I'm using Frame 5.5.6 on Windows 95 and am having what (to me) seems like an odd problem. I'm trying to create a PDF of a small file - 8 pages total. Regardless of whether I use the save-as-pdf or save-as-ps-then-distill option, I can't get this file to work. When I do the former, it crashes out of Frame completely as soon as it starts page 1. When I do the latter, it lets me create the postscript file, but then won't distill it (no PDF is created). I can make PDFs of other files, so I know it's just this one that has the problem. I have copied the text from the one bad file into a new one and also copied it into a file that previously could be made into a PDF, and both times it crashes out of Frame. Does anyone know what could be corrupt in the text/formatting of the file that would keep it from becoming a PDF? Even a short work-around is acceptable at this point. Short of recreating the doc, I don't know what to do. I'm on digest, so please reply to me personally. Thanks for your help!
