I have considered using Perl scripts to convert the raw SGML straight to HTML. That option definitely has merit and has some consideration. For a moment let's say that FM produced "about" what I want and I'm okay using cascading stylesheet. The formatting of the HTML would be less using FM and css. As we all know on the web today HTML pages are highly formatted, and to maintain that formatting over a large collection could get cumbersome using Perl script, unless I'm missing something.
