This was recently gone over, either on this list or the FrameUsers list. The biggest problem I have seen is font naming. The Mac postscript fonts are named differently than the Windows postscript fonts. There was a comment that mentioned two output formats on the Mac side. One was binary and I can't remember the other. Maybe someone else can offer up the answer. Anyhow, it is pretty painless since the files are binary compatible. Fonts will probably your biggest challenge. I would attempt to push for the Win95 platform versus the WinNT one. Haven't touched Win98 yet, so can't comment on that. -----Original Message----- From: Adam Korman <adamk@san.rr.com> To: Free Framers <framers@omsys.com> Date: Wednesday, October 14, 1998 11:23 AM Subject: Frame on Mac vs. PC >It looks like our company may be moving to the dark side (Windows machines). > I would generally oppose this vehemently, but the one thing that has me >stumped is DMS/database solutions for Mac (which has recently become a hot >topic at work).
