just wanted to say I agree wholeheartedly, Thomas! I've been using FM intensively for 5 years now and find everything you listed a nuisance. Some of them a *major* nuisance. My personal biggest gripe is dialog boxes that list filenames and you can't resize them. Our files have long paths so we often can't see the full name. More than irritating - leads to errors.

That said, give me FM any day if the choice is Word!
