Hi: You can count on us telling the truth about what this event will be, and will not be. So, no worries there. If anyone has any concerns regarding personal "ROI" from attending, feel free to contact me offline with additional questions. Adobe is going to come and talk about FrameMaker and will obviously say what they are able to say. There are going to be at least 2 folks from the Frame product team there, and one of the biggest assets of this event is that they will be there to talk to users and answer questions. They will be there to quell the rumors as well. I think that there are two other parts of this conference that will be of benefit to attendees. I speak not only as the conference organizer, but also as someone who has attended every FrameUsers.com conference since they started. What I would want and what we want to make available for attendees: - massive networking including long conference breaks and group luncheons(information sharing, tips, socials) - expert speakers (information sharing, new ideas, WOWs, general learning If you look at the overviews speakers are providing, they are broken down by the type of publishing the speaker does, their outputs, and what related tools they use. We are trying to give potential attendees full details so they may make a decision whether it is worth their while to attend. I've learned new things at each Frame conference I've attended. Lynne Price and I had a conversation earlier this week about how she had learned something at the last conference. If old dogs like us can learn new tips and tricks, then the presentations given at this conference should be extremely helpful for those new to Frame as well as those of us who've been at it a while. Please do take a look at the agenda and the great presentations that some "ordinary" expert users are giving as well as those by well-known certified experts. More info will be posted weekly as speakers provide more details (including Adobe) and as we have more data on the fun stuff like socials and equipment giveaways.
