Thread-topic: OT: Acrobat 7 Batch Sequence Question
I know this is a Framers list, but I'm confident that enough of you may know if there's a solution to this. Thanks for your understanding. Recently, I upgraded to Acrobat 7 from v5.05. In my previous version, I had a couple of batch sequences which set Open Document and Security parameters automatically on the active document. In Acrobat 7, I'm trying to recreate these batch sequences. Unfortunately, when I try to run a sequence, the Select File dialog box opens meaning I have to select my current doc. I then get an error stating, "Could not process document because it was already open."This means that I have to close the PDF I prepared and/or edited, choose the batch sequence and then choose the file I just closed. This is a royal pain in the _____. Thanks a heap, Adobe! Is there a way that I can set up the batch sequence to run on the active document, like in the old days?
