Hi Wayne, SVG graphics are working for me as expected in FrameMaker 7.1 (structured, but that probably does not matter in this case). For me, "as expected" means that SVG is mostly a seamless replacement for EPS. For FrameMaker 7.0, I am thinking that SVG is not supported. I did find that Adobe Illustrator 10's SVG export was faulty. Specifically, when Illustrator 10 exports SVG, it incorrectly specifies matrix attribute values on text elements intended to run vertically. The result once displayed is a terrible unpredictable mangle. In all cases in which I exported EPS to SVG using Adobe Illustrator 10, it specified a matrix value not equal to zero for vertical text elements (although very close to zero). The value needed to be exactly zero. Very small error; disaster in the output. Because SVG can be easily edited in an ASCII text editor, fixing it was easy once I discovered what was wrong. So, there's one example of an SVG benefit.
