Thread-topic: Pantone in FrameMaker PC
Hi Michael, We had some problems when doing glossy brochures and had to get the color right. One option may be to take the files over to a mac and see if they come out right? given my IT department is devoutly anti-mac we ended up exporting to poscript then parsing the file with a product called pitstop. Basically, search and replace the colours when its in postscript. You can check the color in a PDF by opening Acrobat and selecting Advanced | Seperation Preview hope this helps, Luke -----Original Message----- From: Michael Delporte [mailto:MDelporte@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, 22 March 2005 12:50 AM To: framers@xxxxxxxxx Subject: Pantone in FrameMaker PC Hi all, I have a problem with the use of Pantone colors in my FrameMaker documents under Windows. I know the problem of the conversion of the CMYK into RGB, but is there a solution for the Pantone colors in pdf (i don't want to convert these Pantone)? Thank you.
