Unless things have changed since the last time I used text insets
(5.5.6), using "Open all files in book" does *not* open text inset
files.

----------
[sfb] If the text inset files are simply FrameMaker files that are
referenced from a separate book file, FrameMaker will open them. I
think what you're trying to say is that Open All files In Book won't
open insets that are embedded in files in the book.
----------

If you are dealing with multiple sets of inset files across multiple
books, rather than putting *all* your inset files in one book, you may
want to create a book of inset files for each book of container files.
For example, if you're using conditional text settings on different
bunches of inset files, throwing Manual A's inset files in a different
book file from Manual B's inset files means you can import the
conditional text settings across all the files in the book... ditto for
importing variables and other things, too.

----------
[sfb] Of course! It all depends on how you're using your insets.
----------

Apologies if this is not clear...

You might also want to create a FrameMaker book for all your inset
files. That makes maintaining them much easier.
