Hello, I've got a cross-reference format <$paranum> <$paratext> which duplicates the entire paragraph being referenced (the paragraph being a numbered figure caption, in case it matters). The problem is that I've got a few symbol-font characters in the figure caption. In the cross-reference, the caption is not perfectly duplicated because symbol-font override is stripped away. All characters take on the font of the paragraph in which the cross-reference is created. (Let's refer to this paragraph as the "host" paragraph). I can highlight the cross-reference and force it to be symbol-font, but that would display the whole (duplicated) caption in symbol-font. In the caption being cross-referenced, it is only a few selected characters that should be in symbol-font. I tried highlighting all of the host paragraph and applying the font "As Is", but that doesn't take; it always reverts back to the font defined for the paragraph. Same result if I highlight just the cross-reference and apply As-Is-font. Is there any way to make the cross-reference respect the font overrides in the caption being referenced? Thanks. Fred P.S.
