MacOS and OS X use creator IDs to associate files with the applications that created them. Does the confusion you describe for Windows platforms with multiple versions of Acrobat/Reader also apply on Macintosh? For those who need to test PDFs with different versions of Acrobat products, would a solution be to create different user accounts and install a given Acrobat product version only on a given user account? Or, is the Windows Registry not able to manage this kind of separation? What about Mac? > PS: I am sorry if "Mary Rita Muller" thinks that I am yelling at her > or anyone else. Since they're "dry" it probably should be a soothing ointment that can only be applied the right way.<G> Regards, Peter Gold Trainer, Adobe Certified Expert KnowHow ProServices http://www.knowhowpro.com Phone: 612.823.7113 _______________________________________________ FrameMaker, FrameMaker+SGML, Acrobat, InDesign WebWorks Publisher Certified Distance training and coaching information at http://www.knowhowpro.com/schedule_of_classes.htm ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
