Hi Peter, I've gotten several off-list responses stating that this is a known bug (thanks Fred Ridder, Penelope Perkins, and Rick Quatro!). Last year, Hedley Finger posted a workaround for making sure that there are no real broken XREFs when this error message appears. Here's Hedley's post that Penelope was kind enough to forward to me: > -----Original Message----- > From: hedley_finger@myob.com.au [mailto:hedley_finger@myob.com.au] > Sent: Friday, June 14, 2002 12:00 AM <SNIP> > We have discovered a bug related to the book error log where > unresolved > cross-references were reported but none could be found (Find/Change > dialogue) in any of the 'faulty' files. In the book, we also added an > unresolved xrefs report. I suppose another workaround would be to use a link checker plug-in to make sure there are no broken links in the output files. Thanks again, everyone!! -Andrew -----Original Message----- From: Peter Gold [mailto:peter@knowhowpro.com] Sent: Friday, August 01, 2003 2:58 PM To: Andrew Becraft; framers@FrameUsers.com; framers@omsys.com Subject: Re: Unresolved XREF error, but no "real" unresolved XREFs Have you tried searching with all conditions visible? Also, have you looked for unresolved x-refs on the master pages or reference pages?
