Subject: message URL with relative path?

Hi everyone, I've also posted this to the wwp-users list. I'm creating JavaHelp from FM7p578 with WWP7.05.1025 on WinXP Pro. I want to link from inside the javahelp jar file to the javadocs created by one of our developers. I already figured out how to include the javadocs in the generated help jar if that would make this work. (I copied the javadoc directory to the Output folder and WWP included it in the help jar.) I haven't figured out how to create a message URL marker using the file:// protocol where the link to the existing HTML file uses a relative path. Since I don't know for sure where this software will be installed, and since it will run on both Windows and Linux, I don't want to put an absolute path to the javadoc file. I thought about using passthrough code to create an href link to the javadoc files, but I couldn't figure out how to make that work right, either, despite the clear explanation in the WWP help... Can anyone help me? thanks, martha -- Martha Jane {Kolman | Davidson} Dances With Words editrix@nemasys.com "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler." --Albert Einstein -- Martha Jane {Kolman | Davidson} Dances With Words editrix@nemasys.com "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler." --Albert Einstein ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
