Compiling with fdkv5 and fdkv7

Has anyone noticed dlls and exes acting differently depending on which
version of the fdk they are compiled with? I have been having trouble making
calls to the TableSort client when my dll is compiled with version 7 of the
fdk. I keep getting a dialog box popping up saying no table selected when I
try the call. If I look at the file at that point it does seem to be
selected. I do not get this error when I compile with version 5 of the fdk?
This error appears regardless of which version of Frame I am running the dll
in.

Windows 2000
Frame 556 & 7
FDK 5 & 7
