Adobe is losing its chance to make FrameMaker the premier XML application. In fact, by staying with its antiquated code base for so long, Adobe has essentially lost its chance. It's clear that their development dollars are going to InDesign, but InDesign's XML support is still clearly inferior to FrameMaker's and the upcoming Word 11. If you think that selling FrameMaker over Word is tough now, wait until Office 11 comes out.
