The error did not come through in the last email ... it was: 'DDE Server Window:FrameMaker.exe -Entry Point Not Found' The procedure entry point ?error@SAX2XMLReaderImpl@UAEXIQBGW4ErrTypes@XMLErrorReporter@@0000000IIH@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library xerces-c_1_5_1.dll Sue ------------------------------ Sue Mitchell Writing Support Specialist Cognos, Inc. 613.738.1338 x5461 -----Original Message----- From: Mitchell, Sue [mailto:Sue.Mitchell@cognos.com] Sent: Monday, November 11, 2002 10:45 AM To: Framers (E-mail) Subject: Structured Application API A colleague has created a Structured Application dll using the fdk and Visual C++. When I try to compile the code on my machine and run it in Frame 7 I keep getting the following error: <<...OLE_Obj...>> and then Frame cannot load the dll. I can load a dll that he has compiled on his machine but not when I compile on my machine. We both have the following configuration: Windows 2000 sp3 Frame 7.0p576 Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 The only thing I can notice is that his dll is >2 MB and the one compiled on my machine is 1.8MB. It almost seems like I am missing some header files or something in the build. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Frame and Visual C++ to no avail. Does anyone out there have experience building Structured Applications for Frame 7 and can offer me some advice? Thanks in advance.
