Strictly speaking, the Friends Greetings message is not a virus. It is an example of "social engineering"; it *asks* you to download the real virus, which then obtains your permission (buried in a license agreement) to send mail to all your Outlook contacts. Yet another reason not to use Outlook, IMHO. See: http://vil.mcafee.com/dispVirus.asp?virus_k=99760 for the whole story, with screenshots. Again, the message *itself* is harmless.
