ALT tag document report?

We're starting to use the Object Attributes dialog box in FrameMaker 7 
to enter ALT tags for our graphics (section 508 accessibility 
requirements). However, our editor, who doesn't typically touch our 
FrameMaker files, does not want to edit the ALT text using the 
FrameMaker UI. Ideally, she would like to see both the graphic and the 
ALT text as part of a regular FrameMaker printout, or see the ALT tags 
in a separate printout.

I hoped that Adobe might have either added a print option to include 
ALT tags or a generated list option that would output ALT text, but no 
luck.

Has anyone created a document report or an API client that outputs all 
the ALT text in a document or a book? Any other ideas on a streamlined 
way for editors and reviewers to see and review the ALT text?
