Hi, I've set up an association between a paragraph tag and a master page. It worked. I imported the reference pages, master pages (modified), and paragraph formats (modified) to other files. When I update the book with Apply Master Pages, I get an error on only one of the files: "The master page application caused the determining "TitleChapter" tag to move off the page. The default master page was applied as a result." The other two files (with similar layout) are correctly updated. BTW, this master page uses the linked text frames workaround, as discussed by Hedley in a previous message to this list. Frame 7, Windows 2000 and NT Any suggestions? thanks, Nancy ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- The information contained in this message is confidential and is intended for the addressee(s) only.
