The problem is related to the installation of Acrobat Distiller 5.0x
(whether bundled with Acrobat or with FrameMaker).

Recreate the FILE: port for the AdobePS driver as follows:

- Start > Settings > Printers, right-click the Distiller printer icon,
   and choose Properties.

- Click the Ports tab.

- If you don't have one, click Add Port, select Local Port,
   and click New Port. Type FILE: (adding a colon after FILE).
   In the list of ports, you should now see "FILE:", with the description
   saying "Print to File".

- Select this port for the Distiller Printer, and retry printing the PS file
   from FrameMaker.
