At this point, Adobe is now aware of a problem with Multiple Master font PostScript printing under Windows 2000, apparently after Service Pack 3 is installed and possibly due to a Microsoft-provided update to the driver provided in that service pack. We do not at this point believe that the problem has anything to do with any subsequent security or other fixes. Furthermore, we have not yet been able to reproduce any problems with good'ol regular, Single Master Type 1 fonts in the SP3 environment. We are also aware of some other problems with SP3, totally unrelated to fonts, such as AppleTalk printing getting hosed (although fixable) and BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) kernel crashes in some configurations. Until we can get a resolution to these problems, I would strongly recommend that you not install SP3 to Windows 2000. Security updates seem OK, though. More news when available. - Dov At 9/3/2002 09:22 PM, Bradley Anderson wrote: >Framers, > >I've just tracked down a BIG problem for Windows 2000 users.
