<<It seems unlikely that FrameMaker would rasterize SVG graphics: SVG is a vector format, and FrameMaker can deal with vector graphics. Furthermore, no other vector formats that FrameMaker can handle (Frame's own graphics, EPS, PICT) is rasterized. Regards Jan Henning>> But FrameMaker only shows TIFF preview images for EPS graphics. So, I am interested in learning if FrameMaker does display and print SVG as a vector format or are we limited to raster display and vector print. Also, is the vector printing limited in anyway (ie: EPS requires a PS printer to print as vector graphic). As SVG would have to be processed by FM to print, whether the SVG is really a vector graphic when printed is probably entirely up to FM. John Root pointed out the real issue off-list. What is important for my desired implementation is whether FM will pass SVG untouched to Acrobat and how Acrobat then handles the SVG and any embedded scripting/code. Eric L.
