I could be mistaken, but it is my belief that if you follow the proper procedures and always print to Acrobat Distiller 5, even from FrameMaker you don't have to worry about which HP printer you use. Shlomo Perets knows best about this. I am again looking for a department laser printer (B&W) for our FrameMaker and Acrobat information development needs. I am staying away from HP. I have had screwy results in our software environment sometimes. I blame it on the RIP. This stuff moves so fast. I know I want a real Adobe Postscript RIP and fast (40PPM or better). QMS discontinued the one I had spec'd out (4032) Suggestions? Thanks for assistance.
