So WWP Pro & Mif2Go do a good job creating clean HTML from Frame files. That's good to know, and should be a source of pride to both Quadralay & Omsys [waves to Jeremy] because they made the effort to do things right. It's also a textbook example of how a "loss leader" can do more harm than good -- in this case, WWP Standard. I guess that Quadralay is trying to encourage people to buy the Pro version, but the HTML that Standard makes soured me on considering Pro (lack of a Mac version made the decision a no-brainer). As for the time required to set up the XSLT-based conversion... I suspect that the off-the-rack products require a certain amount of setup time too. If nothing else, you need to create a table to map Frame tags to the output format (whatever that may be). You also need to spend some time learning how to do that. Then there's the time spent testing and revising. Hmm... sounds like you're going to spend about as much time on the commercial tool as you are on the free one. Getting back to the original question, which was Rick wanting to know whether it was feasible to generate HTML Help files from Frame, it looks like there are several good ways to go about it, including XSLT.
