Sean, Quite frankly, the problem is that there are so many combinations and permutations of OS versions, driver versions, and application versions, that producing and maintaining a comprehensive matrix of compatibility / support would be a career unto itself. It is hard enough to test the current versions of applications and drivers with the current OS and Microsoft Office applications, much less go back in time and test old versions of Adobe applications for compatibility every time Apple or Microsoft sneezes out a new OS version or Microsoft Office version. (When I wrote and managed groups that wrote operating systems and system utilities many years back, it was an absolute requirement that all existing applications continue to work without modification with new OS releases, no exceptions! That ethic certainly does not permeate the industry these days!) - Dov At 7/31/2002 10:29 AM, Sean Brierley wrote: >Dov, the last thing I want to do is bend your nose ><vbg>. > >You are plenty official for me. > >You are not plenty official for most pointy-haired >bosses, though.
