To go a step further, the FM 7 Features document and the Acrobat
functionality froze completely after it came on my screen. I couldn't
scroll, print, or do anything with it. Adobe should check out these problems
on their site.

Hallo Craig

You can use "acroread"  (./adobe_install_dir/Acrobat4/bin/acroread) to
read and print PDF-Files (there is no Acrobat5 in UNIX) in a
UNIX-environment.
And with "distill" you are able to convert a postscript-File (generated
with
UNIX-FM) in a PDF-File, with all possibilities to set any necessary
parameters, like colorres, monores, grayres to print images in a
high-resolution manner.

Upgrading to Acrobat Reader 5.0.5 resulted in being able to print the
PDFs to the HP5SiMX from my Win95b machine with no trouble. However I
did remove all of the Acrobat 3.0 stuff that came as part of the FM5.5.6
product. I also removed the Reader 4.x I had installed. (These were
removed because a previous download and install of Reader 5 with the
older stuff left in place had resulted in some flakiness some months
ago.)

There is no Reader 5 download for Unix, so one wonders how to print
these from that platform?
