Re: Removing color from PDF



For better or worse, there is no way of doing this (despite driver
settings on the Mac and Windows 2000/XP claiming such support)
prior to creating the PDF file other than actually editing your
content. (Conceivably, you could write PostScript code for a prologue.ps
file to convert all colorspaces to grayscale. I really don't think you
personally want to get into that.)

What I would recommend is using a third party Acrobat plug-in, such
as Quite Software's "Quite a Box of Tricks" plug-in to accomplish this
easily and accurately. <http://www.quite.com/>
