You have nearly answered your own question. :-) I've seen EPS files get corrupted and cause problems identical to yours. However, you say you created the graphic in Frame? Using the drawing tools? Is it embedded into your file, or do you have it saved as MIF and import it? In your situation, the first thing I would do is check the fonts used in the graphic -- I've seen corrupted fonts do all sorts of strange things. This is unlikely to happen these days, but it's easy to check. Next, examine the MIF code and look for objects that don't belong in the file -- perhaps a stray EPS snippet or an empty text frame with a strange/broken font. You may not be able to see the objects in the frame itself -- I've seen anchored frames that *look* like they contain a single graphic, when there are actually two or more! graphics with the rest somehow shifted into non-visible areas of the frame. Failing that, try printing just the offending graphic and see if Frame or your print drivers provide any enlightening error messages. -- Larry Kollar, Senior Technical Writer, ARRIS "Content creators are the engine that drives value in the information life cycle." -- Barry Schaeffer, on XML-Doc ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
