"Indexing with FrameMaker" at NC-FUN meeting 3-28-02

It's time for our bi-monthly North Carolina FrameMaker User's Network
(NC-FUN) meeting. The main topic for the meeting next Thursday
is "Indexing with FrameMaker." This is a how-to presentation, rather
than a presentation about what makes for good or bad indexes
(although Karen can answer your questions about that, too).

Next Meeting: Indexing with FrameMaker
Date: Thursday, March 28, 2002
Time: 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Location: Hill-Rom Offices, Suite 205 West Tower,
11000 Regency Parkway, Cary, NC

Karen Brown will give us a presentation on indexing with FrameMaker.

Karen Taylor Brown has lots of experience indexing and using indexing
add-on tools like IXGen. She is a Senior Technical Writer with
Scriptorium. Karen's background includes technical writing and
editing, desktop publishing, teaching, and a summer job explaining to
furniture distributors in Spanish why their tables were shipped
without chairs. Her projects have included writing manuals and online
help for a variety of software products as well as hardware
documentation for PLC and CNC systems. Karen has four children, so
she sleeps in her spare time.
