If the promotional material includes the Adobe corporate logo
or the Adobe PostScript 3 logo, it uses Adobe PostScript. Be careful
about the words "Adobe PostScript" because cloners can legally say
"emulates Adobe PostScript 3" or even something like "Adobe PostScript 3,
PCL, XYXXY, ESC-P, and Glurbishmonger emulations" and still possibly be
on the correct side of the law. You must carefully look at where the
conjunction "and" is as well as the word "emulation". "Adobe PostScript 3
and emulations of ..." would indicate the "real thing."
