Subject: Inserting pages (with master page assignments)?

Frame 6/Mac OS 9.x My primary concern has to do with whether or not it's possible for master page assignments to migrate logically rather than stay stuck in particular file page 'slots'. It appears to me that, unlike XPress, it is not possible within Frame to either insert X pages or insert X pages before page Y, nor to apply master pages coincident with the insertion. Thus, when I add copy in the middle of a doc to which multiple master pages are applied, the master page assignment stays with the filepage 'slot' rather than logically migrating as the page to which it is assigned moves further back in the doc. If this is accurate, can anyone recommend a plug in solution? Note that I am _not_ looking for a rule-based approach taken by Master Page Tools. Here's my use example: the doc is a listing of properties by five categories and the doc's left/right pages are slightly offset. Pages on which categories begin use either the Left or Right master pages; the category names are tagged. Pages on which the categories continue use unique "continued" master pages (total 10 master pages, 5 categories x left/even and right/odd); I place the 'CategoryName continued' heading on the master pages. When more properties are added to pages smack in the middle of the file, or I want to drop a group of properties in, this results adding in more pages. Since I know that typical properties' content equates to 4 properties/page, if I need to drop in 40 I'd want to insert 10 pages and have all the master page assignments migrate accordingly. __________ Bart Windrum Diogenes Inc.
