Hi all, I am looking for a suitable RW-rules file meant for handling Cyrillic characters/fonts in Frame+SGML 5.6 and under Windows 9x/2k? The default read/write rule files shipped with installation set of FM+SGML 5.6 (isocyr1.rw & isocyr2.rw) have no corresponding rules for making technical documents in Russian language. (For instance a read/write rules to map the ISO character entities to FM characters, like: ........................................... entity "jcy" is fm char 0x71 in "Cyrillic"; entity "Jcy" is fm char 0x51 in "Cyrillic"; ...........................................) I know that the char/keyboard mapping is a complete font-dependent issue but still very curious about the most common way to handle Cyrillic letters in a DTD-based technical document if there is no Cyrillic system font in windows OS? which font do you people recommend? How about the extended standard font in Win2000 prof covering Cyrillic alphabets (I know these are Unicode compliant and FM doesn't support it)? BTW: I read in the earlier posts to comp.text.frame and Framer mailing list archive that FM 5.6 can behave a bit odd when printing Cyrillic documents. Does someone has any experiences with this? Thanx in advance. ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
