I was a FrameMaker virgin when started on the Mac in '92 and '93. The Windows version wasn't out yet. The next year, I was contacted by Frame Technologies, and asked if we wanted to be a beta site for the Windows version. So I believe that they might have ported to Mac first, then to Windows. I know that they had a version 2 for the Mac, I saw a review of the sucker in a Mac computer magazine. It was receiving interest because it was being used on Next boxes.
